Care and storage
  1. All Unbrako fasteners that are supplied in a black oxidised finish need to be covered with a thin coat of oil, especially after washing.
  2. You can also use WD40 instead of oil for this. This is to prevent the development of rust on the fasteners.
Things to Remember

While tightening or loosening the fasteners, please ensure the Allen keys are fully and properly inserted in the slot and that the force is applied perpendicular to the fastener axis to avoid slippage.

I am the one to review this saddlebag stay for RE Scram 411 and I am happy to report that this product is by far the best looking saddle stay in market. Installation is easy but it would be better if company provides a instruction manual for those who are not good with configuration. Paint quality is commendable so as the quality.

Its a good saddle stay

Its actually an overpriced product in my opinion. Its simply a piece of bent metal pipe and a few screws with three welds and powder coating. But yeah less is more in good design. Even then I felt the design would’ve considered the functionality of viaterras own products like the leh bag which i purchased to be used with this same product - only to realize the bags bottom burnt on my week long ride across india because the stay doesn’t actually protect the bag from touching the exhaust in anyway. Something i feel was a very important problem that wasn’t addressed during the design of both the products. After all I purchased the product after a conversation with the viaterra whatsapp support. Though i have these complaints i must say it integrates beautifully with the bike. I hope viaterra takes my comment positively and improves on the bag and the stay.
