How long does it take to process an order?

Orders are typically processed within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). Standard made-to-order items usually take 1–2 weeks to manufacture after the order is placed. For custom made-to-order items, our team will contact you by phone or email with an updated delivery estimate.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number (AWB).
You can use this to track your order transit status on our logistics partner’s website. If you encounter any issues, please email us at help@viaterra.in so we can assist you.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Standard Delivery (Surface): 5-7 business days excluding holidays post dispatch

Expedited Delivery (Air): 3-4 business days excluding holidays post dispatch (Available only if selected at checkout and paid for separately)

Our orders are delivered via trusted courier partners. While we take every step to assist and escalate any delays, delivery times may occasionally be affected by holidays, festivals, rains, extreme weather, or regional disruptions. Rest assured, we’ll raise any issues on your behalf and keep you updated every step of the way.

Important: Air shipping is not available for Made-to-Order (MTO) products.

What should I do if my shipment is damaged or missing items?

If your order arrives damaged/ torn or incomplete with items missing, please take the following steps and contact us immediately

  1. Take photos or a video of the packaging and items immediately upon delivery.
  2. Note the damage or missing items on the delivery receipt or label.
  3. Ask the delivery person to sign off on the noted issue.
  4. Email us the photos or video along with the signed documentation, as this is required to file a claim with our logistics partner.
  5. Once we receive your full details, we’ll arrange a replacement shipment and handle the claim separately with our logistics partner

What if I receive the wrong product?

We’ll schedule a return pickup and ship the correct item to you as quickly as possible.

Can I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel an order and the item is still at our facility, we will process the cancellation and refund the amount after a 2% deduction towards payment gateway charges.

However, if the order has already been packed, the refund will be processed only after the item is returned to us and passes quality check. Please note that applicable deductions will include shipping charges both ways, based on the selected shipping mode, as well as a 2% payment gateway fee.

Apparel orders may take longer due to size confirmation requirements and additional transit from our manufacturing facility in Chennai to Nashik, which handles all international dispatches.

What is included in the shipping charges?

Shipping charges include packaging materials and handling fees, and are calculated based on the higher of the actual gross weight or volumetric weight of your order. Why are shipping charges so high?

We understand that shipping costs can sometimes feel high. Unlike mass-market platforms, we ship directly from our facilities using leading logistics partners such as FedEx and DHL to ensure your gear reaches you safely and in good condition. Shipping charges reflect actual logistics costs—including secure packaging, distance, weight, fuel surcharges, and regional serviceability—especially since riding gear and luggage are bulky and billed on volumetric weight.

Are shipping charges marked up or subsidised?

We don’t inflate shipping fees to offset product pricing, nor do we compromise on courier quality to cut costs. Our aim is to keep shipping charges fair and transparent—and if there’s a difference between the amount paid and the actual courier cost, we share the courier quote screenshot for full visibility.

In some cases, actual international shipping charges may vary due to factors such as fuel surcharges, peak season fees, advancement charges or delivery location accessibility.

Where the shipping amount paid does not fully cover the final courier cost, our team will reach out with details before proceeding. If the updated shipping charges don’t work for you, we’re happy to cancel the order and process a full refund.

What is the value declared on the shipping documents?

We are required by law to disclose the full value of the package contents and cannot alter this value.

Will I have to pay any additional customs duty/VAT/taxes?

Please note that international shipments may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and taxes as per the regulations of the destination country. These charges are not included in the shipping fees and are the responsibility of the recipient.
