CRITERIA:

  • Covers ViaTerra luggage for the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months.
  • Applies only to purchases made directly from viaterragear.com, amazon or authorized dealers.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order ID) is required, unless the product has been registered for warranty.

POSSIBLE RESOLUTIONS: If a stitching or material defect is confirmed:

  • Our first priority is to repair the product.
  • If repair isn’t possible, we’ll replace it.
  • If a replacement cannot be arranged, we’ll issue a refund.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED?

  • Damage resulting from normal wear and tear, accidents, misuse, or improper use.
  • Fading of fabrics, colour variation, or degradation of materials such as plastic fittings, webbing, velcro, or foam caused by environmental exposure (moisture, UV, sunlight, etc.).
  • Zippers getting stuck due to dust, dirt, or lack of maintenance — regular cleaning and lubrication are recommended.
  • Any incidental or consequential damage, including loss of or damage to contents, loss of use, time, or similar expenses.
  • Additional shipping charges for international customers.

1. Connect With Us

Email us at help@viaterra.in to initiate your warranty request. Please include details of the issue along with clear photos or video to help us understand the problem.

2. Fill Out the Warranty Form

We’ll send you a form to fill out with the required information.

3. Assessment & Eligibility

Our team will review your submission and may request additional details if required. Based on this assessment, we’ll confirm whether the issue is covered under warranty.

4. Pickup or Repair Quote

*If the issue is covered under warranty, we’ll confirm your address and arrange a courier pickup for the product. If return pickup is delayed or your pincode is not serviceable, we may request you to ship the product to us. In such cases, return shipping charges will be reimbursed on actuals, up to ₹300 as in-store credit for your next purchase. This credit will be valid for 6 months.

*If the issue is not covered under warranty: We’ll share a fair repair quote (if repair is possible) and provide a payment link after your approval. Once payment is received and the product is shipped to us, we aim to complete the repair and ship it back to you within 1–2 weeks of package receipt.

IMPORTANT:

  • We request you to retain all personal belongings and any components not required for the warranty/ repair.
  • Please note that ViaTerra will not be responsible for any non-warranty/ repair items included with the shipment.
  • Please ensure the product is clean and in a hygienic condition before sending it in for repair. If cleaning is required, a fee of ₹1000 will be applied to cover the necessary cleaning process.

5. Repair or Replacement

Once we receive the product, our team will carry out a detailed inspection and get in touch if we need any clarification. Based on the assessment, we’ll repair or replace the product and ship it back to you. If repair or replacement is not possible, we will process a refund. ***Please note that in rare cases, a warranty claim may be declined after inspection if all required information wasn’t shared during the initial claim process.

Note: ViaTerra is not responsible for delays caused by the courier during transit to and fro.
