Specification

Material

Made from PU-laminated ripstop polyester, the M200 balances lightweight comfort with dependable waterproofing. The shell is rated for 5000mm water column pressure and built to handle tough weather conditions.

Construction & Durability

The outer shell forms a full waterproof barrier, reinforced with a zipper rain gutter and external overflap to keep water out. Wider cuffs with Velcro adjusters ensure compatibility with gloves and prevent water ingress at the wrists.Bar-tacked reinforcements and high-quality stitching hold up through repeated wear.

Comfort & Fit

Pre-curved sleeves and a roomy fit are designed to layer over riding jackets without restricting movement. The removable hood and ergonomic cut offer flexible protection, whether you’re on the bike or off it. A rear exhaust vent helps body heat escape, reducing sweat buildup in humid riding conditions.

Care and storage
  1. Wipe clean with a damp cloth and lukewarm water - do not use hot water.
  2. Avoid contact with solvents, fuel, fabric softeners, or alcohol-based cleaning agents.
  3. Always dry on a hanger in a ventilated area, away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
  4. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storing to prevent mildew or fabric damage.
  5. Clean and lubricate zippers regularly using vaseline or candle wax.
Things to remember
  1. Smooth out zipper flaps to prevent water from pooling and seeping through during continuous rain.
  2. Avoid wearing the jacket over a large backpack, as it can stress the seams and fabric.
  3. Condensation may occur inside due to temperature differences - this is normal and not a leak.
  4. Tuck the collar or wear the hood under the helmet to reduce water entry at the neck.

Works well for the price!

Used it on my Ladakh ride in August and rode for multiple hours in the rain. It held up pretty well, I’d say, and was easy to wear over a riding jacket. I went one size up for a comfortable fit.

Good quality with a flaw

I am using this jacket since last 6 months and the quality is really good, it protects my top part from very heavy rain but there is one flaw in it - the short length on the front side which keeps my belly area exposed and that leads to all my pants (from inside) and tshirt getting wet. They say it is designed to not to keep water from getting collected while riding but it does not work it gets my t shirt and pant wet because of that short length

Hi Gaurang,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the M200 Rain Jacket. We’re glad to hear that you found the quality and rain protection effective. However, we’d like to clarify that the M200 was launched less than 30 days ago, so it wouldn’t have been possible to use it for 6 months. Could you please confirm if you meant the B100 Rain Jacket instead?

Also, regarding the shorter front — this is a deliberate design choice to prevent the jacket from bunching up and collecting water while riding. For full protection, the jacket is meant to be paired with the matching rain pants to create a complete seal. Please share your order details and a few pictures of the fit at help@viaterra.in , so we can guide you better.
