Installation Guide

The KTM ADV 390 Handlebar Risers are designed for easy and secure installation, with all necessary high-strength Unbrako steel bolts and Nyloc nuts included. CNC-machined precision ensures accurate alignment with the handlebar clamp for a simple setup. Cables may need to be rerouted, and for optimal clutch movement, a longer RE Classic 350 clutch cable can be used (not included). No other modifications are required, providing a clean and reliable fit.

Care and storage
  1. Periodically inspect the riser bolts and nuts for tightness, especially after long rides, and retighten if required.
  2. Clean the risers using mild soap and water, then wipe dry to prevent moisture buildup.
  3. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the anodized finish and reduce long-term durability.

Good product but..

It's a well built product but the screws provided could have been better. The thread of screw wear off while tightening and then it became very tough to unscrew it. Personally the heightening didn't make any difference to me.

The tool required to remove and install the handlebar is already included in the motorcycle’s stock tool kit, so we don’t provide it separately.

Gap with stock mounts, bad bolts that strip easily

The problem I have with all the Viaterra hard parts is the awful quality of the bolts supplied. They will strip easily if you apply decent torque and will be hard to remove later. They may also damage your bike by stripping the threads. Supplying good quality bolts is not a big ask and I was quite surprised at the low quality. The colour of the bolts did not match the parts.

Also, there is a noticeable gap between the riser and the stock mounts.
