Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly

• It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements
• Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape
• All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches
• You should preferably be wearing base layers while taking measurements, and avoid anything bulky

STEP 1 -
Waist - Wrap the tape around your belt line. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.

STEP 2 -
Find your pants size by checking measurements against the size chart provided on our website to see which size is closest to you.
Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.

If you are trying it on at the store, wear it and walk around for 5-10 min to get comfortable in it. Keep in mind that the armour might sit lower while standing, but will move higher while sitting on the motorcycle, so check while sitting on the motorcycle as well. The knee armour pocket has 2 levels for adjusting the armour position, so you can change as per your comfort.

Crafted from a durable cotton-polyester-spandex blend, the Austin Denims offer the perfect balance between abrasion resistance, breathability, and stretch. The fabric holds its shape ride after ride while letting you move freely, whether you’re on the bike or at your desk. Reinforced stitching across key zones ensures day-long comfort with dependable durability.

Equipped with CE Level 2 Sas-Tec viscoelastic armour at the knees and hips, the Austin keeps you protected without the bulk. The Type B knee armour covers a larger area and is easily removable. Dual-level adjustability lets you fine-tune the armour position to match your natural stance. Reinforced bar-tacks at stress points add extra strength where it matters.

With built-in stretch, these jeans adapt naturally to your riding position and off-bike movement. The dual-position knee armour system ensures the pads sit exactly where they need to be. Whether you’re on a short city spin or commuting across town, Austin’s ergonomic design delivers lasting comfort without compromise.

Breathable by nature, the cotton-polyester base fabric ensures airflow and heat regulation in warm Indian conditions. Combined with the built in stretch, it helps keep you cool and mobile - even on those long, stop-and-go commutes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Body armours/protectors must always be removed before starting the washing process

CLEAN & CARE:

• Wash them like you wash your denims after you remove the armour.
• Do not place your pants near, or come in contact with a direct heat source.
• Dry the pants on a hanger away from direct sunlight where there is good ventilation.
• Zippers need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly, you can use Vaseline, zipper lube or candle wax

STORAGE:

• Make sure your jeans are completely dry before you store it on a hanger.
• If stored wet or in a non-ventilated area, mildew might grow on the fabric causing discoloration and damage.
• Do not store the denims in air-tight plastic bags

Note - Please note that the armour must be used with the yellow elements facing the body. If the armour is folded or bent or used with the yellow elements facing away from the body, the armour might get damaged. This is not covered under warranty.

Our idea for the Austin came out of personal need - there were no riding pants that we could use in an office or urban setting. So we set out to design one that would serve that need. This was why we decided to use denim instead of technical fabrics, and the low profile yet CE Level 2 rated SasTec armour.

1. Make sure to insert the armour every time you gear up for full protection.
2. Adjust the knee armour position using the dual-level pockets to make sure it aligns with your riding posture.
3. While the denim is naturally breathable, it won’t match the airflow of mesh gear on extremely hot days - choose accordingly based on your ride and weather.
4. Regularly check bar-tack reinforcements and seams for wear if used daily - it helps extend product life and safety.
