SuperFabric for Best-in-Class Abrasion & Cut Resistance
Without an ultra-tough abrasion and cut resistant shell, serious crashes can shred through riding gear, exposing skin to high-speed impact.
- SuperFabric is the GLOBAL gold standard in abrasion and cut resistance. It starts with a fabric and overlays it with tiny ceramic plates (“guard plates”) in a specific arrangement. The gaps between guard plates allow complete flexibility while drastically improving slide protection.
- Large SuperFabric panels provide wrapped-coverage at the primary impact and abrasion zones on the knees.
Genuine CORDURA™ Reinforcement for More Protection
Additional reinforcements for abrasion and tear resistance at all key impact and abrasion areas
- Dual-layered GENUINE Invista Cordura™ 500D at all high-abrasion areas (knees, hips, seat) enhances slide protection.
- 600D Ripstop and 600D Oxford fabrics reinforce durability in areas prone to wear and tear.
Ventilation & Comfort for Long Rides
Without proper airflow, riders risk excessive heat buildup, sweat accumulation, and fatigue—especially during the hotter parts of the day.
- Kruger's extensive mesh coverage ensures continuous airflow over key heat zones.
- Moisture-wicking inner mesh lining prevents sweat buildup for long-distance comfort.
Honest World-Class Full CE Level 2 Protection
We trust the expertise of globally-renowned brands like SasTec (Germany) that specialise exclusively in developing the best protective armours by investing in extensive R&D, rather than producing our own.
- Sas-Tec CE Level 2 articulated and ventilated protectors at the knee, with CE Level 2 hip (tailbone compatible, to be purchased separately).
- Type B knee armour for maximum coverage and impact absorption.
- Pre-curved design and knee positioning strap ensure armour stays locked in place.
2 inseam lengths for an optimal fit
If the inseam (length of pant) is too short, the pants may ride up, exposing the lower leg. If too long, excess fabric can bunch up and become uncomfortable, also resulting in wrong armour positions.
- REGULAR in-seam option for longer legged riders.
- Dedicated SHORT in-seam opt
Streamlined Fit & Armour Stability with FocusFit Adjustments
Loose-fitting pants shift around, making protection ineffective. A secure fit keeps armour in place at all times.
- Dual adjustable knee strap – keeps knee protectors locked in place without restricting movement.
- Waist adjustments provide a snug but comfortable fit for different body types.
Optimized Comfort & Flexibility with Stretch Panels
Touring pants shouldn’t restrict movement, whether you're shifting position or getting on/off the bike.
- Larger single piece stretch panel at the crotch for seamless movement & better comfort.
- More stretch makes it easier to get on or off the bike.
- More comfort while walking in your riding gear.
Best in class coverage with 180 pant connector
A wide jacket zip connector to keep the armour & abrasion-resistant materials closer to their intended protective positions at all times, ensuring the jacket and pants don't ride apart in case of a fall.
- Original YKK pant connector zip offers improved lumbar protection by holding a wider section of the jacket and pants together.
Spacious Quick-Access Cargo Pockets
Quick-access storage is essential for long-distance riders—no fumbling around while seated.
- Deep, glove-friendly water-resistant cargo pockets for secure storage — 1 on each side.
- Angled design for easier access even when you are seated on the bike.
- Silicone grip flaps on pocket corners for better grip, even with gloves on.
Enhanced Grip & Durability
Extra grip means extra control—crucial when standing on the pegs or leaning into corners.
- Leather panels on the inner knee for better grip on the bike’s tank and frame.
- Helps reduce wear from knee braces or gripping the motorcycle.
- Provides the strength of leather without the maintenance hassle.
BootFlex™ system
The ViaTerra proprietary BootFlex system ensures a secure and comfortable fit over any riding boot.
- Strategically placed stretch panels at the calf help accommodate taller boots without stress.
- Full knee-length, spring-loaded zippers allow quick, hassle-free wearing and removal of riding boots.
- Adjustable hem with Velcro closure ensures a secure fit over the boots while also ensuring rider safety.
Ratchet Closure System for a Precision Fit at waist
Comfort at the stomach and waist area is crucial, as this region experiences the most contact and pressure from the jacket, belt, and riding posture — especially after a heavy meal!
- Heavy-duty ratchet closure for quick, micro-adjustable waist fitting, allowing the rider to fine-tune the fit based on body position or clothing.
- Micrometric adjustment that offers greater flexibility and range compared to traditional button closures.
High-Visibility Reflectives
Low-light visibility is a key factor in touring safety — better visibility means a lower chance of accidents.
- Large reflective 3M strip placed below the calf for enhanced visibility during nighttime riding.
- Strategically positioned to ensure visibility from multiple angles.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly:
- It is helpful to have a family member or friend take the measurements for accuracy.
- Please use flexible tape only, such as a tailor’s measuring tape.
- All measurements must be recorded in the same units, either centimetres or inches.
- You should preferably wear base layers while measuring and avoid anything bulky.
STEP 1 - Measure using a tailor's tape:
There are two key measurements required to determine your correct pants size.
- High hip: Wrap the tape around your belt line. Keep the tape parallel to the ground — not too loose and not too tight.
- Inseam length: Hold a hardbound book firmly between your legs, then measure from the top edge of the book down to the ankle.
STEP 2 - Find your pants size by checking measurements against the size chart provided:
- Refer to the body size chart on our website to find the size closest to your measurements. ViaTerra offers riding pants with two inseam lengths for each waist size — Short and Regular — allowing you to choose based on your height.
- If both your measurements do not fall within one specific size, use the inseam length to choose the pants size. The waist can be adjusted using the belt-loop system provided.
- Each brand follows its own sizing standards, so always check the size chart before selecting your size.
How to check if the armour is in the right position and how to make adjustments to ensure the armours stay in place while on the motorcycle:
If you are trying the pants on at the store, wear them for 5–10 minutes to get comfortable. Keep in mind that the pants are designed to work best in the riding posture, so some other movements may feel slightly restrictive.
STEP 1 - Confirm that the armours are in the correct position:
The primary fit check should be around the lower hip and thighs. The pants include a complete belt system for maximum adjustability at the waist, which also allows you to add the tailbone armour if required.
STEP 2 - Ensure the armours are properly positioned:
- For the knee, take a seat and bend your leg. When bent, ensure the armour sits at least 2 inches above the knee and covers both sides evenly.
- If the pants fit well but the knee armour feels slightly misaligned, use the cinching mechanism to bring the armour closer to your body.
- To adjust, ensure the ladderlock is not aligned with the webbing. Hold the ladderlock perpendicular to the webbing and pull it left or right to tighten or loosen. Cinch straps at the hems offer additional adjustment.
The Kruger Pro Touring pants offer unmatched ventilation, comfort and dexterity like no other. Designed for the ride with pre-curved knees and ergonomically placed stretch panels, the Kruger Pro enables you to move around with ease.
With best-in-class CE Level 2 protection from SAS-TEC and dual-layer impact zones combining SuperFabric with Cordura panels, the Kruger Pro is ready to shield you when required. It is the only riding pant that comes with the option to include tailbone protection.
Kruger Pro mesh riding pants offer multiple inseam lengths for the same waist size, so there's no need to adjust the armour to compensate for extra pant length. A good-fitting riding pant should fit well without constant readjustment.
The FocusFit design of the Kruger Pro delivers an unmatched fit and comfort, allowing the armours to sit closer to the body without causing discomfort. This close fit is crucial to ensure the armours remain in the right position during a crash and absorb impact effectively.
- Pre-curved knees and ergonomic stretch panels for superior mobility
- CE Level 2 SAS-TEC armour for best-in-class impact protection
- Dual-layer impact zones with SuperFabric + Cordura
- Optional tailbone protection
- Multiple inseam lengths for each waist size
- FocusFit design for a secure, comfortable armour fit
