Inner drybag liner made from gray ripstop fabric with PU coating and rated for 5000mm water pressure.

The inner liner is seam sealed on all stitches to withstand heavy rains and the light color allows for better visibility of packed items.

Roll top closure for 100% waterproofing

Comes with a ROLL TOP opening to enhance 100% waterproofing and make it easy to compress any extra volume. The top opening is rolled down (atleast 3 folds) and secured with a strap + buckle closure.

Built to last:
Triple stitch on all joints for improved strength
Bar tacked at all stress points for added reinforcement
Tough, tear-resistant polyester webbing used all through for superior strength.
Nylon thread for all stitching as it has a higher strength to linear density ratio (Tenacity) than polyester thread and enhances seam integrity.

Mounting Overview

Simple ladder lock/SR clamp based mounting
POD comes with removable base with two straps on either side. This mounting base is attached to the bag using velcro patch.
The POD can be mounted with the mounting base either attached to the bag or without.

Wash and Care
  1. Wipe it clean with a damp cloth using mild soap and water.
  2. Avoid harsh chemicals or fabric stain removers, as they may damage the material.
  3. If there are stains which you are not able to remove using a damp cloth, use a soft bristled brush soaked in a mild pH neutral soap and rinse off using cold water. Please note that using the brush could lead to piling which will not be covered under warranty.
  4. Ensure all zippers and buckles are free from dirt and debris to maintain smooth operation.
  5. Allow the bag to air dry completely before storage to prevent moisture buildup and fabric deterioration. Store away from the sun & other heat sources.
  6. Remove bags from the bike when not in use to avoid fabric fading.
  7. Dry-cleaning or machine washing or using a clothes dryers or hand/dhobi washing or soaking will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings that the fabric has.
  8. Do not alter the product or get it repaired at an unauthorized repair centre as this will void the warranty.
  9. When you are storing the bag, please do not stuff the item into a smaller space/container as this will damage the coating and void the warranty.
Things to Remember
  1. Avoid leaving the bag on the bike for long durations in harsh sun.
  2. Choose the Pod size based on your typical riding load, tools, spares, or first aid.
  3. Distribute weight evenly across the bag for better balance & stability.

Just amazing

Works as expected. Did a trip in peak monsoon in coastal Karnataka and had very little water ingress into the bag. Granted, the bag was overloaded and wasn't fully shut. If it is closed as per the instructions, I experience zero problems. I used to use this bag for my daily commute for the entire season of Mumbai's monsoon; even during a cyclone, I experienced zero water ingressing into the compartment.

Pod 12 - Beige

It's a good luggage pack for a weekend solo trail run. Very easy and quick to mount. You can pack in 2 pairs of t shirts and shirts (or jeans) along with tyre inflator (a compact Bosch), a starter Stanley tool kit, couple of bungee cords or nets, toiletry pouch and a puncture repair kit.
I used the external loops on the bag to tie my leisure footware using a bungee net.
One thing missing are external zip pockets to keep little things like cables or electral packets. I know the design team must not have kept it to retain the core waterproof nature of the luggage pack.

Top notch build quality

I have 2 of these bags, store them at home, carry on my multiday rides as it convenient to store my riding jacket and riding pants with warm and rain proof layers. Used a couple of them I bought from Revzilla - they were good but didn't last. Viaterra's build quality is good and I'm confident they will last.
