Care and Storage


1. All Unbrako fasteners supplied with a black oxidised finish should be coated with a thin layer of oil, especially after washing.
2. WD40 can be used as an alternative to oil to prevent rust formation on the fasteners.

Things to Remember

While tightening or loosening fasteners, ensure Allen keys are fully and properly inserted in the slot and that force is applied perpendicular to the fastener axis to avoid slippage.

A Must-Have with the Downtown Saddlebags

Not much to say about a saddle stay, which is probably a good thing. It fits well, feels sturdy and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I've used it with the ViaTerra Downtown saddlebags on my Guerrilla 450 and it keeps the bags properly supported even when fully loaded.

Good quality, easy installation and no issues so far. Recommended if you're planning to tour with saddlebags.
