SuperFabric for Best-in-Class Abrasion & Cut Resistance
Without an ultra-tough abrasion and cut resistant shell, serious crashes can shred through riding gear, exposing skin to high-speed impact.
- SuperFabric is the GLOBAL gold standard in abrasion and cut resistance. It starts with a fabric and overlays it with tiny ceramic plates (“guard plates”) in a specific arrangement. The gaps between guard plates allow complete flexibility while drastically improving slide protection.
- Large SuperFabric panels provide wrapped-coverage at the primary impact/abrasion zones on shoulders and elbows.
Genuine CORDURA™ Reinforcement for More Protection
Additional reinforcements for abrasion and tear resistance at all key impact/abrasion areas.
- Dual-layered GENUINE Invista Cordura™ 500D at all high-abrasion areas (shoulders & elbows) to prevent tearing and slide-through damage.
- Premium 600D Oxford and Ripstop fabrics strengthen adjacent zones for extra durability.
Ventilation & Comfort - Designed to Go the Distance
Without proper airflow, riders risk excessive heat buildup, sweat accumulation, and fatigue—especially during the hotter parts of the day.
- Kruger Pro's extensive mesh layout, along with perforations in the SAS-TEC armour, allow efficient cross-ventilation.
- 3D Airmesh on the back protector prevents contact sweating at slower speeds where there is less airflow around the body.
- The inner mesh, combined with stretch fabric, ensures a more comfortable fit, while strategically placed stretch panels on the elbows and back of the shoulders provide enhanced flexibility and freedom of movement.
Honest World-Class Full CE Level 2 Protection
We trust the expertise of globally-renowned brands like SasTec (Germany) that specialise exclusively in developing the best protective armours by investing in extensive R&D, rather than producing our own.
- SAS-TEC CE certified Type B Level 2 articulated & ventilated armour for the shoulder, elbow, and back, positioned as per Indian body measurements.
- The larger Type B shoulders and elbow protectors, full back armour, and chest armour all offer wider coverage for enhanced protection.
- No cost-cutting and no shortcuts when it comes to your protection.
Built-in Lumbar Belt for back support
Without lumbar support, long days of riding on uneven roads and terrain can be extremely taxing on your back, leading to muscle strains and other aches and pains.
- Kruger's built-in ventilated elastic lumbar belt reinforces the rider's core without restricting airflow.
- Provides firm support to the lower back, reducing strain from long hours of riding.
- Keeps the back armour secured closer to your body at all times when engaged.
FocusFit adjustments for a secure fit
Properly positioned armour absorbs and distributes the force of an impact. If the armour shifts or is misaligned, it won’t provide effective protection where it's needed most, potentially leaving the rider vulnerable to serious injury. Additionally, a well-fitted jacket allows freedom of movement while ensuring the armour stays exactly where it should.
- Two waist straps plus an elastic braided cord with cord locks at the hem provide a secure yet flexible fit, expanding when seated.
- Forearm straps and bicep buttons fine-tune sleeve fit and secure elbow armour positioning.
- Velcro adjustable cuffs to accommodate different glove types.
- Adjustable collar with dual buttons for a customised neck fit.
Stretch panels for flexible movement
Sleek stretch panels — instead of bulky accordion fabric — at the back and elbows allow for a snug fit with easy movement, and a stylish look.
- Pre-curved arms allow for a more natural riding position and reduce strain and fatigue during long rides.
Best in class coverage with 180 pant connector
Kruger features a wide pant zip connector to keep the armour and abrasion-resistant materials closer to their intended protective positions at all times, ensuring the jacket and pants don't ride apart during a crash.
- Original YKK pant connector zip offers improved lumbar protection by holding a wider section of the jacket and pants together.
Pockets for Organized Storage
Accessibility matters – riders need storage that’s secure, easy to reach, and weatherproof.
- Two water-resistant front pockets with silicone grip flaps for easy access with gloves.
- Two external chest (Napoleon) pockets with YKK zippers & silicone pullers.
- Hand-warmer pockets for extra comfort.
Two internal pockets:
- Zippered pocket for valuables (mobile, keys, etc.).
- Mini pocket sized for earplugs or small essentials.
- Large vented stash pocket on the back for gloves or a rain jacket
Tactical MOLLE loops for Quick Storage
Hypalon MOLLE loops on the chest offer an easy way to stash and hold essentials in a personalised way, including one extended to accommodate sunglasses with wider stems.
Dual-Sided Front YKK Zippers with tank-safe design
The Kruger Pro uses genuine YKK™ zippers and pullers throughout, since cheap zippers are often the first components to fail on most riding jackets.
- Dual-sided primary YKK zipper for added adjustability and convenience.
- Soft zip guard at the base of the zipper helps prevent scratches on the bike’s tank — a small detail that makes a big difference!
Premium Comfort Details for Long Rides
Attention to details that make you look and feel good on every ride.
- Soft neoprene lining on the collar and cuffs prevents chafing.
- Ventilated mesh collar keeps air flowing over the rider’s upper chest and back.
- Premium “ViaTerra” embossed leather panel on the sleeve for added aesthetic appeal.
Enhanced visibility with reflectives
Reflectives on the arms and back are strategically placed to keep riders visible without compromising style.
- Reflective 3M panels for enhanced nighttime visibility.
- Positioned to ensure visibility from multiple angles.
PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS
Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly:
- It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements.
- Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape.
- All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches.
- You should preferably be wearing base layers while taking measurements, and avoid anything bulky.
STEP 1 - Measure using a tailor's tape
There are two key measurements that you need to take into consideration for figuring out your jacket size.
- Chest: Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest and do not inhale while taking the measurement. The tape should be comfortable — not too tight or loose. Keep your arms loose at your sides and breathe normally.
- Waist: Measure the circumference of your waist over the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.
STEP 2 - Find your jacket size by checking measurements against the size chart provided
- If both the measurements do not fall in one particular size, use the larger of the two measurements to choose the jacket size.
- If the two measurements are on the borderline between two sizes, choose the one that offers your preferred fit — sporty fit (lower size) or comfort fit (higher size).
Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.
How to check if the armour is in the right position and how to make adjustments to ensure the armours stay in place while on the motorcycle:
If you are trying it on at the store, wear it for 5–10 minutes to get comfortable in it. Keep in mind that the Kruger Pro is designed to work best in the riding posture with the arms forward, so other movements may feel slightly restrictive.
STEP 1 - Confirm that the armours are in the correct position
The jacket fit should ensure that the armours sit in the anatomically correct position. Since every rider’s body is unique, the elbow armour might sit slightly off in some cases depending on the length of your arms.
STEP 2 - Ensure the armours are properly positioned
- If the jacket fit is correct but the elbow armour is slightly off, use the cinching mechanism to adjust the elbow armour and bring it closer to your body.
- To do this, first ensure the ladderlock is not aligned with the webbing. Pull the ladderlock slightly away from the body, then pull it away from the loop to tighten or toward the loop to loosen. You also have cinch straps on the hips for additional adjustment.
Even the best protective armour is ineffective if it is not positioned correctly. The exoskeleton of the Kruger Pro Jacket is designed to sit close to the body, ensuring that the armour stays in place without requiring constant adjustment.
The placement of armour in your riding jacket is just as important as the type of armour used. The Kruger Pro Touring Jacket has been engineered to ensure that the SAS-TEC CE Level 2 armour sits exactly where it should—and stays there—when you're on the motorcycle.
The ViaTerra Kruger Pro offers outstanding impact protection and abrasion resistance while remaining extremely lightweight and highly ventilated. This is achieved by using SuperFabric, along with a specialised blend of mesh and fabric in the jacket construction, combined with premium SAS-TEC CE Level 2 protectors on the elbows, shoulders, chest (add-on), and back.
Try one on today and you will instantly feel the difference it makes to your riding comfort. The Kruger is designed to maximise ventilation in all key heat zones identified through body heat mapping. Even the inner lining of the jacket pockets (except the waterproof one) is made of mesh so airflow remains uninterrupted while you're on the move.
The inner lining of the jacket is also treated with an anti-microbial and odour-neutralising coating, helping you stay fresher for longer—even on extended rides.
