External cover for additional protection from dust/ grime and rain.

Nylon thread for all stitching as it has a higher strength to linear density ratio (Tenacity) than polyester thread and enhances seam integrity.

Mounting Overview

Uses a 3 Point anchoring system making it a breeze to load and unload
- One strap goes under the tail lamp (to prevent the bag from sliding forward)
- Two straps loop through the rear footpeg stays (to secure the bag in place)
- Dual side locking on bridge strap for adjusting the width of the bridge.

To adjust the webbing length as per the mounting requirements for your specific bike model:
- First, secure the double D-Ring and mark the webbing after 4-5 inches
- Cut the rest of the extra webbing
- Burn the edges of the cut part of the webbing to stop it from fraying off

Wash and Care

Wipe it clean with a damp cloth using mild soap and water.
Avoid harsh chemicals or fabric stain removers, as they may damage the material.
If there are stains which you are not able to remove using a damp cloth, use a soft bristled brush soaked in a mild pH neutral soap and rinse off using cold water. Please note that using the brush could lead to piling which will not be covered under warranty.
Ensure all zippers and buckles are free from dirt and debris to maintain smooth operation.
Allow the bag to air dry completely before storage to prevent moisture buildup and fabric deterioration. Store away from the sun & other heat sources.
Remove bags from the bike when not in use to avoid fabric fading.
Dry-cleaning or machine washing or using a clothes dryers or hand/dhobi washing or soaking will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings that the fabric has.
Do not alter the product or get it repaired at an unauthorized repair centre as this will void the warranty.
When you are storing the bag, please do not stuff the item into a smaller space/container as this will damage the coating and void the warranty.

Things to Remember

Don’t compress the inner waterproof liner & raincover aggressively, it may weaken seam tapes over time.
Use the liner roll-top closure properly with atleast 3 folds, to prevent ingress in heavy downpours.
Ensure straps are fastened securely and excess slack is tucked away before you ride.
Distribute weight evenly across the bags for better balance & stability.

(Apologies) This review is for this bigger bag, I accidentally posted it in for the mini leh bag).
Though I lost my last account,I created this account after maybe a year and half, just to comment on a product which has left me content and confident.The collections I carried twice on my trip included mannual foot pump, cables, metal tools, shoes and clothing for two. It can be summed up usually as a heavy load.
I felt this bag, with its utilitarian design and a proper rain guard at its disposal becomes a trustworthy carrier in those motorcycle trips. I especially appreciate the sensible price along with a quality product built, unlike some crazy high priced bag with really nothing to show for other than just advertisement.
This isn't a paid review and never did any members of the company even once, asked me to give it a review. It's simply a well founded item.

All hit, but 2 misses (I feel)

Giving it 4 stars because I absolutely loved the product even after I felt the following 2 things could haven been worked upon:

1. Putting in the fiber sheet to get the saddle bag in shape was a freaking difficult job & a frustrating one.
2. More reflectives could haven been added at the back and edges of the saddle bags for vehicles to identify the actual width of my motorcycle.

However I feel the Viaterra team made these saddle bags with so much thought and cleverness that I think they have reached the last stage in the evolution of saddle bags. The ease & fitting of the water bottle holder, the rolling system of the inner lining to ensure waterproofing, the choice of materials in different parts of the saddles and the sturdiness after mounting it, multiple quick access zips.
