Full CE Level 2 Protection including Chest

The Miller jacket features CE certified Level 2 armours from PowerTector, including chest protectors, which means no compromise on protection.

We have also ensured proper armour placement with shoulder, elbow and back protectors positioned as per Indian body measurements.

Chest protectors are positioned closer to the sternum for improved safety.

Larger Type B protectors for shoulder & elbow, and full back armour offer wider coverage for enhanced protection.

Comfort & Ventilation during long rides

The Miller is built for the Indian climatic conditions, with thoughtfully placed mesh panels on the body’s hot spots to maximize air flow to these areas.

The PowerTector armour are designed with holes for ventilation, ensuring that riders stay cool and comfortable, even on the hottest days.

Stretch panels at the back and elbow

The Miller jacket comes with precurved arms and stretch panels at the back and the elbow.

The pre-curved arms allow for a more natural riding position, reducing strain and fatigue on the rider's arms and shoulders.

The stretch panels on the back and elbow of the jacket allow for ease of movement and ensure a snug fit to the body, further enhancing the rider's comfort and reducing the likelihood of wind drag during the ride.

Flexible adjustments for a secure fit

Dual straps on the sleeves allow you to modulate the position of the armour as per your comfort while waist cinches allow for easy adjustment to accommodate various body types. Additionally, the wrist Velcro strap adjustment provides the flexibility to wear the jacket either over or under your gloves based on your preference or specific use case.

Heavy Duty 600D polyester on Impact zones

Reinforced abrasion and tear resistance with 600D polyester woven fabric in impact zones as these are most likely to be impacted in the event of a fall or accident.

Stay comfortable with inner mesh panels

The Miller jacket's inner mesh helps to keep you comfortable and cool even in hot and humid conditions by preventing the buildup of sweat on the skin.

Pant connector

The YKK pant connector zip offers improved lumbar protection by holding the jacket and pant together. It prevents the separation between garments in case of a crash and keeps you protected.

Accessible front pockets

The front zippered pockets allow for storage and easy access of the need-to-have items for the ride.

Enhanced visibility with well placed reflectives

Strategically placed reflectives to provide enhanced visibility during night rides while balancing aesthetics for day rides.

Original YKK™ for extra durability and smooth operation on all zips

The Miller uses the world class YKK zippers & pullers THROUGHOUT.

How to measure size for riding jackets?

Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly
- It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements
- Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape
- All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches
- You should preferably be wearing base layers while taking measurements, and avoid anything bulky

STEP 1 - Measure using a tailor's tape
There are two key measurements that you need to take into consideration for figuring out your jacket size.
A) Chest - Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest and do not inhale while taking the measurement. Tape measure over your chest should be comfortable i.e. not too tight or loose. Keep your arms loose on the sides, and breathe in normally.
B) Waist - Measure the circumference of your waist over the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.

STEP 2 - Find your jacket size by checking measurements against the size chart provided
- If both the measurements do not fall in one particular size - use the larger of the two measures to choose the jacket size.
- If the two measurements are on the border line between two sizes, choose the one that offers a preferred fit i.e. sporty fit (lower size) or comfort fit (higher size) depending on your preference.

Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.

How to check fitment for riding jackets?

How to check if the armour is in the right position and how to make adjustments to ensure the armours stay in place?

If you are trying it on at the store, wear it for 5-10 min to get comfortable in it. Keep in mind that the Miller is designed to work best in the riding posture with the arms forward. So other movements could feel restrictive.

STEP 1 - Confirm that the armours are in the correct position The jacket fit should be such that the armours are in the anatomically correct position. Since we are all unique, this could mean that the elbow armour might be slightly off in some cases depending on length of your arms.

STEP 2 - Ensure the armours are properly positioned.
- In case the jacket fit is correct but the elbow armour is slightly off, use the cinching mechanism to adjust the elbow armour and bring it closer to your body.
- To do so, first make sure the ladderlock is not on the same line as the webbing.
- Pull the ladderlock slightly away from the body, and simply pull it away from the loop to tighten or towards the loop to loosen.
- You also have cinch straps on the hips for adjustment.

Materials

Built using abrasion-resistant 600D polyester in impact zones and high airflow mesh across the body, the Miller balances durability with breathability. Reinforced bar tacks at key stress points add structural strength, while original YKK zippers ensure smooth and reliable operation every time. The liners add an extra layer of thermal comfort and moisture management for cold rides along with rain protection during the monsoons.

Protection

DESIGNED FOR COMPLETE PROTECTION
- CE LEVEL 2 PROTECTORS - CE Level 2 certified protectors for Back, Shoulder, Elbows AND CHEST. Most others offer only CE Level 1 for the Chest.
- Proper protector placement - Shoulder, elbow and back protectors positioned as per Indian body measurements. Chest protectors positioned closer to the sternum for improved safety.
- Wider coverage - Larger Type B protectors for shoulder & elbow, and full back armour offer wider coverage.

Comfort & Fit

DESIGNED FOR RIDING POSITION
- Precurved Arms - Ensures proper fit to the body in riding position and reduces strain on the rider's arms & shoulders
- Stretch panels at the back & elbow - Allows for a greater range of motion on the motorcycle and improves comfort
- Fit adjustment - Modulate the fit as per your comfort with adjusters on the sleeve and waist

Ventilation

DESIGNED FOR INDIAN CONDITIONS
- CrossFlowTech - High mesh coverage, including on pocket panels, for superior airflow
- Temperature Tested - Armours work across a wide temperature range from -20 C to 40 C with no performance loss
- Armour design with AVS - Large air holes in the armour for breathability without compromising protection.

Visibility

Subtle, well-placed reflectives enhance visibility during night rides while maintaining a clean aesthetic for daytime wear. They’re designed to catch attention when needed, without being flashy or intrusive.

Wash and Care

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Body armours/ protectors must always be removed before starting the washing process

CLEAN & CARE:
- For dirt and stains, clean with a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water (DO NOT USE HOT WATER)
- DO NOT allow your jacket to come in contact with solvents (do not use fabric softener!), fuel, or cleaning agents.
- DO NOT use any kind of CHEMICAL or ALCOHOL-BASED product. For longer life of the fabric, we recommend hand washing the jacket using mild detergent
- Do not place your jacket near, or come in contact with a direct heat source
- Dry the jacket on a hanger away from direct sunlight where there is good ventilation.
- Zippers need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly - you can use vaseline or candle wax

STORAGE:
- Make sure your jacket is completely dry with armours removed before you store it on a hanger.
- If stored wet or in a non-ventilated area as it allows mildew to grow on the fabric causing discoloration and damage
- Do not store the jacket in air-tight plastic bags

Please watch the video explaining these steps and reach out to us if you need help!

Things to Remember

The Miller comes with PowerTector CE Level 2 certified protectors for Back, Shoulder, Elbows AND CHEST.
- Even the best of protective armour is of no use if it is not in the right place. The Miller jacket comes with multiple adjustments to help get the armour position right for you!
- Smartly placed stretch panels at the back and elbows allow for ease of movement and ensure a snug fit to the body.
- The Miller is a well-ventilated riding jacket making it perfect for the hot and humid Indian conditions. We achieved this by using a combination of a special blend of mesh and fabric in the construction of the jacket, as well as by using ventilated Powertector CE Level 2 protectors.
- We even made sure that the inner lining of our jacket pockets are made of mesh so that it does not inhibit the flow of air when you're on the move.
- The inner lining of the jacket is also treated to enhance moisture wicking which helps cool you down during long days in the saddle.

Worth the buy

I recently purchased viaterra's miller jacket and pants. It is totally worth the money. I went on a 2000km long trip wearing this and didn't feel any issues regarding comfort. And yes the ventillation is just crazy. I think no other brands provide a thermal inner liner, a rain cover and a complete all CE lvl 2 jacket for this money. Totally worth it
