Genuine Invista Cordura on Impact Zones for enhanced protection

Cordura on impact zones effectively withstands high-friction contact during a slide, reducing the risk of severe road rash and providing enhanced protection in the event of a crash.

Kruger Air is built with dual layered hard-wearing GENUINE Invista Cordura 500D on critical impact zones at the shoulders and elbows.

Premium 600D Ripstop & 600D Oxford fabrics strengthen adjacent zones for extra durability.

Ventilation, Ventilation, Ventilation for optimal comfort

Without proper airflow, riders can experience excessive heat buildup, sweat accumulation, and fatigue, especially in warm, humid Indian conditions

Extensive mesh coverage to allow generous airflow over critical areas as per the body heat map.

Perforated protective armours and moisture wicking internal mesh lining to allow efficient cross-ventilation.

Built-in Lumbar Belt for back support

Without lumbar support, long days of riding on uneven roads and terrain can be extermely taxing on your back leading to muscle strains and other aches and pains.

Kruger's built-in ventilated elastic lumbar belt reinforces the rider's core, without restricting airflow.

Provides firm support to the lower back, reducing strain from long hours of riding.

Keeps the back armour secured closer to your body at all times when engaged

Honest CE Level 2 Protection from PowerTector (Designed & made in South Korea)

Specification

How to measure size for riding jackets?

Things to keep in mind to ensure the measurements are taken correctly
- It will be helpful to have a family member or a friend take the measurements
- Please use flexible tape only, like a tailor’s tape
- All the measurements must be in the same units, whether cm or inches
- You should preferably be wearing base layers while taking measurements, and avoid anything bulky

STEP 1 - Measure using a tailor's tape
There are two key measurements that you need to take into consideration for figuring out your jacket size.
A) Chest - Wrap the tape measure around the widest part of the chest and do not inhale while taking the measurement. Tape measure over your chest should be comfortable i.e. not too tight or loose. Keep your arms loose on the sides, and breathe in normally.
B) Waist - Measure the circumference of your waist over the belly button. Keep the tape parallel to the ground, not too loose or too tight.

STEP 2 - Find your jacket size by checking measurements against the size chart provided
- If both the measurements do not fall in one particular size - use the larger of the two measures to choose the jacket size.
- If the two measurements are on the border line between two sizes, choose the one that offers a preferred fit i.e. sporty fit (lower size) or comfort fit (higher size) depending on your preference.

Remember, each brand has its own body size charts, so do check the chart before you select the size.

How to check fitment for riding jackets?

How to check if the armour is in the right position and how to make adjustments to ensure the armours stay in place?

If you are trying it on at the store, wear it for 5-10 min to get comfortable in it. Keep in mind that the Kruger Air is designed to work best in the riding posture with the arms forward. So other movements could feel restrictive.

STEP 1 - Confirm that the armours are in the correct position The jacket fit should be such that the armours are in the anatomically correct position. Since we are all unique, this could mean that the elbow armour might be slightly off in some cases depending on length of your arms.

STEP 2 - Ensure the armours are properly positioned.
- In case the jacket fit is correct but the elbow armour is slightly off, use the cinching mechanism to adjust the elbow armour and bring it closer to your body.
- To do so, first make sure the ladderlock is not on the same line as the webbing.
- Pull the ladderlock slightly away from the body, and simply pull it away from the loop to tighten or towards the loop to loosen.
- You also have cinch straps on the hips for adjustment.

Please watch the video explaining these steps and reach out to us if you need help!

Materials

Crafted from abrasion-resistant Cordura 500D, the Kruger Air is purpose-built for high-mileage touring. Reinforced panels at impact zones improve tear resistance, while heavy-duty mesh construction allows for all-day breathability. Premium fittings, bar-tacked seams, and durable adjusters ensure the jacket holds up ride after ride. Original YKK zippers & pullers for extra durability and smooth operation of zips with best in class coverage with 180 jacket-pant connector

Protection

DESIGNED FOR COMPLETE PROTECTION
- CE LEVEL 2 PROTECTORS - Equipped with CE Level 2 Power Tector armour on the shoulders, elbows, back and chest, the Kruger Air offers serious protection without restricting movement.
- Proper protector placement - Shoulder, elbow and back protectors positioned as per Indian body measurements. Chest protectors positioned closer to the sternum for improved safety.
- Wider coverage - Larger Type B protectors for shoulder & elbow, and full back armour offer wider coverage.
- Dual-layer Cordura reinforcements in key slide zones boost abrasion resistance.
- Add an optional chest protector and connect to your riding pants with the built-in 180-degree pant connector for full-body coverage.

Comfort & Fit

DESIGNED FOR RIDING POSITION
- Designed for the touring stance, the Kruger uses our FocusFit system to keep all armour snug and properly aligned.
- Articulated sleeves, flexible panels, and fine-tune adjusters at the arms, waist, and hips help reduce pressure points and eliminate fatigue during long hours on the road.

Ventilation

DESIGNED FOR INDIAN CONDITIONS
- CrossFlowTech - With large mesh panels across the chest, back, and sleeves, the Kruger Air ensures airflow exactly where you need it.
- Temperature Tested - Armours work across a wide temperature range from -20 C to 40 C with no performance loss
- Armour design with AVS - Even the Power Tector armour comes with perforations to encourage ventilation in high-impact areas, so you stay cool without compromising safety.

Visibility

Discreet yet effective reflectives are placed across the arms, chest, and back to light you up under headlamps - without breaking the jacket’s clean, low-key aesthetic. Visibility when you need it, subtle style when you don’t.

Wash and Care

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Body armours/ protectors must always be removed before starting the washing process

CLEAN & CARE:
- For dirt and stains, clean with a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water (DO NOT USE HOT WATER)
- DO NOT allow your jacket to come in contact with solvents (do not use fabric softener!), fuel, or cleaning agents.
- DO NOT use any kind of CHEMICAL or ALCOHOL-BASED product. For longer life of the fabric, we recommend hand washing the jacket using mild detergent
- Do not place your jacket near, or come in contact with a direct heat source
- Dry the jacket on a hanger away from direct sunlight where there is good ventilation.
- Zippers need to be cleaned and lubricated regularly - you can use vaseline or candle wax

STORAGE:
- Make sure your jacket is completely dry with armours removed before you store it on a hanger.
- If stored wet or in a non-ventilated area as it allows mildew to grow on the fabric causing discoloration and damage
- Do not store the jacket in air-tight plastic bags

Please watch the video explaining these steps and reach out to us if you need help!

Things to Remember

The Kruger Air comes with PowerTector CE Level 2 certified protectors for Back, Shoulder, Elbows AND CHEST.
- Even the best of protective armour is of no use if it is not in the right place. The Kruger Air jacket comes with multiple adjustments to help get the armour position right for you!
- Smartly placed stretch panels at the back and elbows allow for ease of movement and ensure a snug fit to the body.
- The Kruger Air is a well-ventilated riding jacket making it perfect for the hot and humid Indian conditions. We achieved this by using a combination of a special blend of mesh and fabric in the construction of the jacket, as well as by using ventilated Powertector CE Level 2 protectors.
- We even made sure that the inner lining of our jacket pockets are made of mesh so that it does not inhibit the flow of air when you're on the move.
- The inner lining of the jacket is also treated to enhance moisture wicking which helps cool you down during long days in the saddle.
