Meets CE Level 1 & exceeds Level 2 for key metrics

Palm Abrasion Protection as measured by mean abrasion time on palm area - 5X Level 2 standard

Knuckle Impact Protection as measured by mean transmitted peak force on the knuckles - 3X Level 2 standard

Wrist Closure Resistance measured as force held for 30 seconds - Meets Level 2 standard

Superior Impact Protection for Knuckles

The Grid Mk3 now incorporates carbon fiber knuckle protectors with high density TPU inserts for enhanced impact absorption. To maximize comfort, the gloves feature dual layers of foam: one beneath the knuckle guard and another covering the back of the hand. Additionally, the knuckle protectors are available in two sizes to ensure a better fit and comprehensive coverage across hand sizes.

Palm protection with Full Wrap Knox SPS 404

The Grid Mk3 continues with the top-of-the-line dual compound, full wrap SPS 404, integrating Knox's latest Micro-lock armor on the inside and abrasion-resistant LDPE on the outside. Scaphoid injuries, commonly occurring in motorcycle accidents due to the grab effect when the palm hits the ground, underscore the importance of correct SPS placement, which has been approved for the Grid by Knox headquarters in London.

Impact Protection for Wrist

The Grid Mk3 now features carbon fiber wrist sliders with underlying EVA padding to protect the ulna bones. The finger protection is provided by TPR protectors and EVA foam padding.

Pinky finger bridge for roll protection

On the Grid Mk3, the ring and pinky fingers are attached with a bridge panel to prevent finger roll injuries that can occur during a crash. This is a mandatory feature required for riding on most race tracks.

Goatskin Leather for enhanced abrasion protection

The Grid Mk3 utilizes durable, lightweight goatskin leather that is naturally water-resistant and renowned for its comfortable suppleness. We maintained the leather thickness at its maximum possible level (1.2 to 1.5mm) to enhance abrasion resistance.

Excellent Ventilation & Breathability

Strategically placed air scoops integrated with TPU finger protectors and perforated leather throughout the Grid Mk3, maximize airflow—ideal for the Indian climate.

Optimized stretch for comfort

The Grid Mk3 features floating knuckle protectors with a stretch panel underneath, allowing free movement when operating the clutch and brake. Accordion panels have also been integrated into the thumbs to ensure a comfortable grip on the handlebars.

Dual Velcro closure with wrist accordion

The dual closure system on the Grid Mk3 ensures the gloves remain secure during a crash, a mandatory requirement for riding on most race tracks. The wrist accordion design guarantees a snug fit whether the gloves are worn over or under the jacket cuff. This design also ensures the male and female Velcro patches fully engage, creating a secure hold around the wrist to prevent slippage in the event of a crash.

Silicone SuperGrip for smooth throttle operation

The Grid Mk3 features an engineered SuperGrip silicone panel positioned at the purlicue (the area between the forefinger and thumb), providing superior grip on the handlebars. The enhanced grip on the palm allows for a light hold on the bars while ensuring smooth operation of the throttle.

Touchscreen friendly for BOTH hands!

The Grid Mk3 features special conductive leather panels on the index finger and thumb tips of both hands, allowing you to use your smartphone during quick breaks or stops without removing the gloves. This conductive leather mimics a conductive path, facilitating seamless operation of touch-sensitive electronic devices. These panels are placed on the fingertips as well - allowing you to pinch and zoom easily.

Visor wiper for rainy rides

The Grid features a strategically positioned soft wiper on the left hand, making it easy to clean the helmet visor in rainy conditions.

Specification

Material

Made from naturally water resistant, full-grain goatskin leather, these gloves offer maximum durability and abrasion resistance. They also incorporate carbon fiber knuckle protectors, Knox SPS 404 dual compound palm sliders, and EVA padding for enhanced impact absorption. A silicone SuperGrip panel in the purlicue area improves handlebar control.

Protection

Built for serious protection, the Grid Mk3 uses KNOX SPS 404 sliders and carbon fiber reinforcements to keep your hands safe when it matters. You get CE Level 2-certified knuckle protection, carbon fiber wrist sliders, a pinky bridge, and high-density TPU inserts that absorb impact and reduce injury. The full-grain goatskin leather palm adds natural abrasion resistance without compromising grip or feel. Whether you're touring or hitting the track, these gloves are built to handle impact.

Comfort and Fit

Made to move with you, the Grid Mk3 packs in floating knuckle protectors with a stretch panel underneath - so your hands flex naturally every time you grab the clutch or brake. Accordion panels on the thumbs give you that easy, no-resistance grip on the bars. The pre-curved fit means zero bunching and all-day comfort, whether you're weaving through traffic or leaned in at the track.

How to Measure Glove Size

Step 1 – Measure Your Hand
Grab a tailor’s measuring tape and take two quick measurements:
Circumference – Wrap the tape around the widest part of your palm. Lightly close your hand before noting the number.
Length – Measure from the tip of your middle finger to the base of your palm (where your wrist starts).

Step 2 – Check the Size Chart
Match your measurements with the size chart to find the right fit.
If your length and circumference fall in different size categories, go with the larger one.
If you're in between sizes, try both and pick the one that feels better on the bike.
A good fit means better control, less fatigue, and max protection—don’t guess it.

How to Check Glove Fitment

STEP 1 - Confirm that the gloves are a comfortable fit.
They should not be excessively tight on all fingers (including the thumb) & knuckles.
To check this, try the gloves on and form a fist several times and verify if:
1. Adequate room for all fingers (specially thumb) to move and operate controls comfortably.
2. Check the fitment on both hands since your left and right hand sizes do vary.
Ensure that the fit on first try is not so tight as to cause discomfort and/or restrict movement

STEP 2 - Ensure the knuckle protectors are properly positioned.
The way to check this is:
1. Roll your hand into a tight fist and hold the position for 5-10 minutes. This position should be easy to hold without causing any discomfort or causing any stress points.
2. Ensure that the edge of the knuckle protector is not over the knuckle when the fist is formed."

Care and Storage

Cleaning Your Gloves
What you’ll need:
Microfiber cloth, soft-bristled brush, absorbent towel, pH-neutral leather cleaner, leather conditioner, lukewarm water
Steps:
Mix a bit of leather cleaner with lukewarm water.
Dip the microfiber cloth, wring it slightly, and gently wipe the gloves clean.
Mud splatters? Let them dry first, then brush them off before wiping.
Work from wrist to fingertips, getting between each finger.
Rinse your cloth often so you’re not rubbing dirt back in.
Flip and repeat on the other side.
Important:
No hot water.
No harsh cleaners, fuel, fabric softener, or scrubbing.
No machines or pressure washers.
Don’t wring them.

Drying Wet Gloves
Gently press with an absorbent towel—do this even if it’s just rainwater.
Let them dry naturally, indoors, away from sunlight and heat.
Never use a dryer, radiator, or direct sunlight.
While drying, wear them occasionally to keep the shape.

Conditioning the Leather
Once dry, condition them. This keeps the leather flexible, breathable, and crack-free.
Use a good leather conditioner - nothing that clogs the pores.
Rub it in evenly and let it soak.
Wipe off any extra conditioner.

Storing Your Gloves
Only store when completely dry.
Use a breathable cotton bag with a few packs of silica gel - skip plastic.
Keep them in a cool, ventilated place.
Take care of them, and they’ll take care of you on every ride.

Things to Remember
  1. If you're new to gloves with a pinky bridge, they may feel odd at first.
  2. Give it a few rides, and you'll adjust - protection always comes before comfort.
  3. Ensure a snug fit for optimal control and safety.
  4. Fasten wrist closures securely to prevent slippage in case of impact, and avoid bending knuckle protectors during storage to maintain their integrity.

Crazy deal!

The kind of quality that these gloves bring to the table is unbelievable. It's almost Rev'it-like quality and it's surprising that they come at this price. I recommend these gloves over all other Viaterra options simply because they're really protective and have CE L2 features. Really happy with my purchase.
