Uses a special ODOR CRUNCH Swedish technology that works as a natural anti-odor treatment by capturing, ‘crunching,’ and permanently removing odors using natural silica particles, the primary component of common sand.

This keeps clothing and fabrics smelling fresher for longer and reduces the amount of washing required.

This construction method makes the ViaTerra 2nd skin base layers more comfortable to wear, as there are no raised or irritating seams against the skin. Additionally, flatlock seams also reduce stress along the seams, which helps to prevent the base layers from stretching out of shape or becoming damaged over time, making it more durable.

Comfort piping to reduce chafing on the skin

The 2nd Skin Base Layers from ViaTerra are constructed with soft piping on all seams, which provides added comfort during long days in the saddle. Crafted from ultra-light, breathable stretch fabric, the 2nd Skin Base Layer Top offers a smooth, next-to-skin feel ideal for hot and humid conditions. The four-way stretch construction moves with your body and dries quickly after washes or sweaty rides.

Odour control

The hydrophobic yarns wick away sweat as soon as it forms, keeping you dry and comfortable through long rides. Treated with Polygiene anti-odour tech, it prevents bacterial build-up and stays fresher for longer - ideal for multi-day trips or everyday commutes.

Comfort & Fit

With a pre-shaped cut, the top hugs close without clinging. Flat-lock seams and soft piping prevent irritation on pressure points, offering long-wear comfort even if layered under mesh or touring jackets.

Quick dry

Engineered for Indian summers, the moisture-wicking fabric actively pulls sweat away and promotes airflow. No clingy discomfort - just cool, dry performance across city runs, weekend getaways, or long hauls.

Wash, care and storage

Wash separately in cold water before first use.
Always turn the base layer inside out before washing to protect the outer fabric and stitching.
Hand wash with mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners, or stain removers.
If there are stains which you are not able to remove using a damp cloth, use a soft bristled brush soaked in a mild pH neutral soap and rinse off using cold water. Please note that using the brush could lead to piling which will not be covered under warranty.
Do not wring. Gently drip dry in a ventilated, shaded area - keep away from direct sunlight or heat.
Do not tumble dry, dry clean, or iron.
Store flat or folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure to sun or heat sources.
Dry-cleaning or using a clothes dryers will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings that the fabric has.

Things to Remember

The base layer is meant to fit close to the body - this ensures effective moisture-wicking and layering comfort under your riding jacket.
Give it a few wears to let the fabric naturally adapt to your body and riding posture. It gets more comfortable with use.
Always air it out/ clean it after each ride to prevent sweat buildup and odour.
Avoid storing it damp or in tightly packed spaces to preserve fabric stretch and breathability.
