Build quality is decent. The fabrics could have been better slightly rugged considering its a tool kit, use of canvas inside might have helped. Had ordered the Taparia tool kit for my RE STD500 & here’s where the real problem is, theSpanner heads don’t fit into the elastic brackets as the space is too small to slip the spanner heads through! BIG BIG goof up! Dunno abt these guys return/replacement policy either..hope someone frm Viaterra reads this.

Thank you for the feedback 🙂 The 1680Dx1680D fabric we use (across most of our products) has been tested by an accredited lab, and it has passed the Martindale abrasion test (ISO 12947-1) till 25000 rubs without any major failure. We will however consider using canvas from the next lot onwards. Regarding the fitment of the spanners, we have sent an image of the kit in action to your email. If we were to increase the spacing between the stitches on the elastic, spanners would be very loose leading to them slipping out. Request you to email us (info@viaterragear.com) if you need any further clarifications. And we do have a very customer friendly return policy 🙂

Built quality is good, and the stitches are also looking good in a first look. I had ordered Taparia toolkit for 200NS, and faced the same problem as above. Tools go into only specified sized elastic brackets. I had two spanners 16-17 and 18-19, which nearly have the same sized head. So they need to inserted into the same brackets as the next left bracket is smaller for either of them and the right bracket is occupied by bigger set like 20-22. Although both fit into the elastic band, I fear that with time the elastic may wear out as two spanners are putting more pressure as compared to one. Other then that, they roll in nice, and sure it does serve the purpose of an organizer.

Thank you Santosh for the feedback. Though the elastic looks tight, it can take in the spanner. If we keep too much gap, then the tools tend to slip out & too less would mean difficulty in getting the tools in – we have tried to balance both.
