Care Instructions

Here are some easy ways to clean and take care of your equipment. If you want to learn more, feel free to send us an email at info@viaterragear.com

Please use a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent to gently wipe the bag clean. Hang dry in shade only. Dry-cleaning or machine washing or using a dryer or hand/dhobi washing or soaking will void the warranty as this will damage the special coatings that the fabric has. It will also result in your bag losing its “water-proof” coating.

When you are storing the bag, please do not crush, or roll or otherwise stuff the bag into a smaller space/container as this will result in damage to the item and void the warranty.

Do not alter the bag or get it repaired at an unauthorized repair center as this will void the warranty.

Have had the falcon saddle bag for more than a year and I’m happy with the product. I recommend using them with saddle stay as I have done on my Fz25. The rain cover too, does the job. And the volume is enough to carry stuff for one person for 4-5 days, and in my case I travelled to Himachal several times with pillion, and both of our stuff came in the bag (we traveled for 3 days total).
When traveling solo, I tie up the bags on my pillion seat with bungee cords, hence eliminating the saddle stay.

I have got my saddle bag.
I found that the quality of this saddle bag is excellent. The design aspect is also very good. In my opinion, this saddle bag is made for every type of motorbike. I have a Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 ABS and this saddle bag is perfect fit for this bike. When ride solo or riding with pillion, this is the perfect choice. Also carry enough luggage with pillion for 3-4 days riding.

Every time I want to get anything, I double check, cross check and check-check before investing. Once again, trusting Viaterra was absolutely worth it. Features are all explained in detail on their site, so I won’t into those. Rode about more than 1,000/- km (Yes, during lockdown) with these bags on Yamaha MT15 and here’s what I got to express..

Once plastic sheets are inserted for shape, it looks pretty on bike. Especially shape matches so perfectly with upswept exhaust, doesn’t look bulky. All three straps take less than two minutes to mount on bike, which is less than it takes for filling her up 😉 Bags stay put and didn’t move a bit even while riding hard on broken tarmac.

Chains are easy to operate and compartments easy to access. Cord mesh on top is too well for holding pretty much anything. Only I felt that there should’ve been “mesh pocket with chain” inside U opening to keep vehicle docs, permits etc. Also some hide-your-treasure pocket to keep house keys etc. would just touch the moon. Base provided underneath bags is well positioned to ensure no contact between flat surface and bag.

Keeping almost equal weight on both sides didn’t dangle me bike. I’m not used to saddle bags and almost forget they’re there hanging besides, cutting through narrow traffic and on.. Just when I remembered, I suddenly got down and found not a single scratch on them. Long story short, unexpanded, they’re just there clutching her backseat 😉

Fit and finish, fabric quality, stiches, materials used anything.. You name it, it’s best over bags I’ve seen personally. However, I also felt those handles feel quiet loose when you unmounts and lift her.. Maybe little piping those handles would give better feeling.

In short, I would always spend a bit little for Viaterra instead of bundling everything in a rope..!
